The Belgian design companies Dark and Extremis have respectively scooped first and second prize at the first edition of the Design Management Europe Awards, which could be described as the Oscars of the international design world. Dark is renowned for its non-conformist, eye-catching lighting equipment while Extremis has in recent years grown into the world's leading outdoor furniture and accessories design specialist.
