Acura MDX Design Story Told By Ricky Hsu And John Norman, Pa



We recently had a chance to experience the new Acura MDX and were suitably impressed. We wanted to know more about the design development and went to Acura's new Advanced Design Studio in downtown Pasadena to talk with Ricky Hsu, the exterior project leader, and John Norman, the Interior project leader.

Ricky and John extensively walked us through the design process of the MDX in its 2D stage, after which, in part 2, they will guide you around and inside the car and show you how sketches turned into reality. In part 3 we will then show you our design evaluation of the MDX.
