This will house about 650 pigs ranging from 23 to 90 kg (50 to 200 lbs) live weight; typical continuous production (based on 14 weeks growing-finishing period) theoretically could yield up to 2400 pigs marketed per year, although 1500-2000 would be typical. Building length can be adjusted in increments of 2.4 m (8 ft). Pens for this plan can be 1.2 to 2.4 m (4 to 8 ft) wide, and 5.3 m (17 ft 8 in.) long.
