Cathedral Doors
It is easy to make your own elegantly curved cabinet doors using MLCS router bits and Cathedral Door Template Guides. Our set of templates includes seven
sizes of curves, allowing you to make doors from about 10? wide to over 22? wide.

Computer - Door and File Desk
You can make one of the classic modern American desks by simply placing a door on the top of two two-drawer filing cabinets. It is large, simplicity itself to make, and easy to move. It has been a favorite with American students for 40 years.

Unfortunately it has a number of short coming that make it unsatisfactory for a low-stress computer desk. The surface is much too high for a keyboard. The desk is too big for most dorm rooms. The filing cabinets are expensive, take up leg room, and who needs two anyway.

Decorative Doorway
This charming pergola offers shade protection to a patio built adjacent to the house. It is constructed in three interlinking sections, with the middle unit extending out further than those on either side.

Door Chime
Cheap plastic chime covers should be heard and not seen?not so with this Mission classic.

Door Hanger
The template to create your own wood Door Hanger Sign follows this introductory page. The final sign is about 15-1/2? tall and 4-3/4? wide. When the template is pieced together, all that is necessary is to cut on the outer border to complete the general shape. Routering the top edge will create a soft bevel for a more complete, finished look. Sand and paint like the finished sample shown and your done!

Door Harp
I always wanted to make a door harp but just have never gotten around to it. I tried to find plans on the web but everyone was selling them. I decided to design my own and share it with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Door Latch
Place the spinner within the door stile for a clean, almost hidden, latch.

Door Projects - Split or Slide
Split a door in half, install a sliding door or take the rattle out of your doors.

Door Table
Interior designer Anne McKevitt explains how to turn a door into a unique new dining table or even a desk--for just $20.

Doors - Coved on The Tablesaw
Make beautiful raised panels without a router table and expensive bits. The tool of choice for most small-shop woodworkers who want to make raised panels is the router. But what if you just want to make one or two raised-panel doors, say for a bathroom vanity, a small cabinet, or a jewelry box? With our technique you can make raised panels with the traditional scooped-out profile using just your tablesaw.

Fixing a Hollow Core Door
Two techniques to repair an unsightly, embarrassing hole in your door...

Frame and Panel Door
This classic raised-panel door is made with 1-3/4? solid jarrah -- an Australian wood related to eucalyptus. It is traditionally built in the frame and panel style, and mortise and loose-tenon joinery is used to join the rails and stiles that form the frame. Dados are cut into the frame to hold stunning solid-walnut panels. The book-matched panels are classically shaped to give them a three-dimensional, sculpted look. To raise the panels, a shaper wasn?t used. Rather, the table router was employed with a panel-raising bit that cut a gentle bevel. This narrows the edges so that the panels fit snugly into the dados. An antique door-knob and complementary hardware are added as the finishing touches

Garage - Energy Efficient Doors
Do you know the old joke: the physics professor asked for thoughts on the world?s most important inventions? After the usual fire, wheel, television responses, one student answered ?the Thermos?.

Hand Made Door
Three ways to build a door, including batten, layered and joined door designs, diagrams and instructions. ...

How to Install a Doggy Door
Home repair expert Henry Harrison shares tips for installing a pet door.

Large Bi-fold Shop Door
This plan provides details for building large bi-fold shop or machine-shed doors to fit openings up to 7.2 m (24 ft) wide. Bi-fold swinging doors are easier to operate than most sliding doors. Though not as convenient as commercial overhead doors, these swinging doors can be built on site for about one-third the cost. The keys to successful bi-fold door construction are: heavy duty hinges; and extremely rigid door framing

Pocket - Installion Door
Have a tight space that you need to get into? Try installing a pocket door!

Replace Kitchen Cabinet Doors With Glass
When Gina Pardo, an author of children?s books, heard that Ron was coming to the small San Franciscan suburb of Lafayette, she thought it would be fun to ask for his help. Gina had a project on her wish list that she knew she would never get around to on her own. She had far too many ?must do? projects on her list to spend the time on one that was just for fun. Since Ron is all for having fun, he couldn?t wait to come help Gina out by showing her how to replace her old solid kitchen cabinet doors with beautifully handcrafted, glass paned doors. She was thrilled with the results.
