Build a light frame / lamp
Sitting around the fire is what makes winter worthwhile.
When the firelight flickers, romance is not far off. In fact, more mad spontaneous couplings occur in ski lodges than you might think. It's not the rum-soaked hot chocolate. It's the fact that when firelight flickers, everyone looks at least 50% more attractive than they are.

Build Your Own Add-on Greenhouse
Some of us (far more than have thought about it) can afford to buy and erect a prefabricated greenhouse,? and some of us can?t. But even if you include yourself in the latter group, that?s still no reason to do without your very own plant conservatory.

Cold Frame
Although this cold frame was constructed of lumber, it can also be used by stacking bales of hay and adding an old window or door to the top. Look around your home for materials that can be used

Cold Frame Propogation Bench
This cold frame was designed for small nurseries or Christmas tree producers as an inexpensive system for the propagation of a small number of cuttings. The system has worked well at our Auburn greenhouse complex and at a few nurseries where we have installed it as a demonstration. Depending on your spacing, you should be able to get 2,500 to 6,000 cuttings in the cold frame

Constructing a Frame Saw
By William R. Duffield - You have been given fair warning. Here?s the finished saw?well almost finished, anyhow. I really need to do something about the black plastic knobs. While they are perfectly functional, they somehow detract from the aesthetics.
