Ok why cant I use the old vac and just connect it up to some sort of separator for the larger particulate mater. I could always use the shop vac but that thing is so darn heavy and loud. Hence I decided to build a mini-cyclone. Having built a few larger ones I figured it would be a snap. And it was.
