This one of a kind Bar was designed and constructed by Mixed Media Artist Duane Vickers. This project's design began in late December 2003, and the prototype was completed in February 2006. Duane finished construction of this marble and walnut design on January 17th 2007. The front and back are finished with a faux painting techniques often referred to as Marbling. I used earth tones and amber colors of acrylic paints and glazes for this affect. The Marbling is protected and sealed with several coats of a polyurethane satin finish. The bar top and sides has a beautiful American Walnut finish also protected with several coats of a Satin Polyurethane finish. The Trellis/Arbor style glass and wine racks holds up to 60 glasses and 24 1/2 Gallon size bottles.This unique style Arbor has a Black Walnut finish with several coats of a clear gloss Polycrylic finish. This incredible Custom Home Bar is simply magnificent and probably one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever worked on!
