90 degree Trellis
90-Degree Trellis This project came from my need to justify the new brad-nailer and compressor I came home with one day. It turned out nice despite being the first trellis I attempted. The trellis is made from a 6ft. 2X6... NewWoodworker.com

Adding a Trellis to an Arbor
Lattice panels are used to create the trellis portion of an arbor-and-trellis. Most building centers carry cedar, pressure-treated, and vinyl lattice in 2-ft. ? 8-ft. and 4-ft. ? 8-ft. panels. Standard lattice panels are 3/4? thick. For a more customized look, you can build your own lattice panels from exterior-rated lumber.

Bendwood Trellis
Nothing combines natural beauty and functionality more gracefully than a rustic bentwood trellis, arbor, gate, or fence for your garden. With the simple step-by-step instructions in Making Bentwood Trellises, Arbors, Gates & Fences, you?ll learn how to collect limbs from a wide variety of native trees as a part of routine pruning and then use those limbs to make beautiful, sturdy bentwood projects.Note: You have to click on ?Read an Excerpt? to see the free woodworking plan information

Bentwood Garden Trellis
A project that incorporates materials from your backyard by David and Jeanie Stiles. While a geometric, pristine pergola looks perfect in a formal setting, rustic garden structures made from trees, vines, and branches may seem more suitable for an informal garden. This archived free woodworking plans and woodworkers projects information is courtesy of the FamilyFun web site.

Build a Copper Trellis
A striking copper trellis with humble plumbing roots. This is my favourite project of all time because it's an insanely cocky and decorative application of plumbing skills.

Build Your Own Trellis
This easy-to-make trellis will help camouflage a blank wall. To create the trellis, begin with four 10-foot posts vertically spaced out across the wall to be disguised. Anchor each post in a one-inch-deep hole with concrete. Attach 10-foot horizontal runners along the top, middle and base of the vertical posts to add structural support.

Building a Fan Trellis
This trellis is sophisticated-looking, but amazingly easy to make. A stake cut from pressure-treated wood holds the bottom in place, but the trellis needs a building or fence to lean against for support (Fig. 1). The hardest part may be coming up with the wood pieces for the trellis ? thin strips of clear redwood or cedar that are 3/4-inch wide by 3/8-inch thick. If your lumberyard can't produce them for you at a reasonable price, you can cut them on a table saw or radial arm saw.

Building a Fan Trellis
The fan-shaped trellis branches are cut out in a classic design that mimics the shape of a tree and provides a pleasing alternative to rectangular-shaped trellises. Because there is no frame, this type of trellis is not as strong as the framed variety.

Building A Redwood Trellis
There is no better way to attractively fill a space between your yard and the neighbor's than with an easy-to-construct redwood trellis. Imagine this trellis with clematis spreading its white, red, pink, or purple flowers all the way to the top.

Cedar Board and Lattic Fence
Not at all to scale, it just presents the general idea of how to build one

Creative Wall Dressing Trellis
If you have a narrow entryway, walled in by a garage or side of the house, a simple design trick can give the illusion of depth and larger space. Trompe l?oeil, French for ?fool the eye,? is a drawing perspective technique that makes an object appear to have depth even though it?s flat.

Deck Lattice Installation
Covering the underside of a deck with lattice not only adds to the appeal, but also allows you to use the space beneath the deck for storage.

Fitting a Trellis / Lattice
The lattice frame usually consists of uprights (posts) and top and bottom plates.
