16th Century German Wheelbarrow
Although it would be possible to give a set of plans that spelled out in detail all of the measures and sizes needed to build a wheelbarrow, in this case I think, it is more important for the builder to grasp some of the engineering considerations involved in the construction of the wheelbarrow and modify the plans in such a way as to make the barrow the most suitable for them

16th Century Wheelbarrow
It?s not entirely clear when wheel barrows came into common usage, but they appear in European art by the 13th century. The Chinese had wheel barrows much earlier, though their design put the wheel under the cargo box instead of in front of it

Accurate Cut Circular Saw Box
Sometimes it?s the little things?like making a square cut in a reasonable amount of time without fancy equipment?that trip up your project. Even with a handheld circular saw, it?s no picnic. In fact, without experience, making accurate cuts can be more difficult than with a handsaw, at least until you build a sawbox. Control is what this custom sawbox delivers.

All Wood Collet Chuck
An earlier article in More Woodturning on turning wine stoppers got me thinking about collet chucks. I wondered if I could make one entirely out of wood. I thought this would be just an exercise to see if I could do it, but it surprised me with its usefulness. Although the All Wood Collet Chuck doesn?t have the holding power and range of wooden jaws mounted in a scroll chuck, it does have adequate power for turning tops, wine stoppers, and the odd bit of dowel.

Angle Drilling Jig

Angle Rest, Groover Jig and Arbortech Mini Carver Guide

My reason for making an Angle Rest was born out of a need to have a means of holding Jigs or Guides for Projects that had an element of Repetitiveness involved, in particular an idea I had for a Deep Grooving Guide.
